I would really like volksturm units implemented in the game. They should be cheap and a copy of soviet conscript infantry but with 1 soft attack and a higher hard attack (panzerfaust). I am not sure how much hard attack they should have, but I think they should have more then 1.

I implemented Volkssturm for 1945 in my Unit Revisions mod.
