when working out the POA for the above looking down the QRS if the troop type as the target isn't on the sheet do i use the evens result

I've never noticed a missing troop type - can you give an example.

ok ill rephrase the question what is the poa for the above against unarmoured armoured h armoured and fully armour foot and the same for mted i carnt see them on the qrs or am i reading this wrong

Shooting POAs are listed on page 122 in the table headed "Shooting POAs".

Artillery POAs against Fully Armoured, Heavily Armoured Foot , Armoured Foot and Unarmoured Foot can be found in the middle column of this table, in the rows where these troop types are listed in the column headed "Nearest rank of target is" and "Artillery" is listed in the corresponding box on the right side of the same table.

The dice roll needed to inflict a "hit" in shooting when there is no net POA can be found in the table at the upper right corner of page 121, "Shooting Rolls to Hit"
