Wow, impressive list. Thanks for posting this. All points look like good candidates for fixing in the next patch.

Well I have to disagree with several of these. Especially all 85mm guns being AThvy. Soviet 85mm gun had pretty much the penetrating power and effect of the Panther's 75mm gun, after all.

17 pound guns on tanks being AT light also seems fine.

About the 17-pounder... It doesn't matter much to me which attack they have, but I can understand why Horst deems the 'heavy' more appropiate when you see some Fireflies in action:

The blasts are from two guns (the rear one doesn't fire it seems) but each fireball is quite large, as you can see.

About the 17pdr: You gave the heavy animation to the AT gun, that's why I called it a discrepancy and not necessarily a mistake with the tank variants.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordnance_QF_17-pounder wrote: The 17-pounder produced a very large muzzle flash due to the large amount of propellant in its cartridges. Muzzle blast was also significant, described by crews of the anti-tank gun variant as resembling a hard slap on the chest.
Its performance (at least with the APCBC Mk. 8T projectile) is better than the Panther's gun, so yeah, I guess it sits right in the middle of light and heavy. It would give at least a reasonable feedback with heavy sound that your German tanks got hammered with something uncomparable powerful from all the many similar looking Allied tank variants.

The Soviet 85mm shell is slightly longer than the Tiger I's one and sometimes shell and projectile even heavier although it lacks slightly the punch of it. There are like 24 different projectiles for the 85mm. I think it deserves to be in the heavy league because it can scratch the heavy German tanks more often than before with the many 76.2mm variants, same feedback reason like with the 17pdr.

I forgot the British Archer and Achilles (icon shows only the M10 with 3-inch gun though) also use the 17pdr.
If someone is interested to give these units the AThvy animation now, here are some offsets I’ve corrected quickly by eyes only but it should look fine. Just replace the lines you want to change in your efx file:
