Didn't the game installer asked you in which language you wanted to install the game?

Yes, my fellow Wargamer it does and i told the Installer: "Yes, Please English"

But the Game is in German because my Windows 8 is a German OS.
I play out of principle only German Games in German. Everything else in English.
(Because most Translation are from Google or Worst.)
Cheers

That'd odd. I've installed the game in German in my UK Windows 8 and waa able to play in German.
Well, you can try an workaround:
Open your the folder where your game was installed. Locate these folder "Cinematics", "EntityTemplates", "Games", "LoadingScreens", "Maps" and "RenderConfig" and rename "ger" subfolders in each to "_ger" (or anything else) and the subfolders "eng" to "ger".
Usually our games are translated by professionals, or by users which the native language is the language they are translating into.

Thanks for your Answer, very Kind. And Thanks for your Solution. I have Solved it by myself: Installing the US Language Preference and changing the OS Language to US. Problem Solved.
When i said "Google Translation" i didn't mean Slitherine or Matrix.
But please tell your In-and Outhouse Developer not to use the Windows Language Pref to determine the Language. It's so Eighties and so Region 1 Locked

Because i don't won't to buy a cheap 360 Port in which M$ dictates this kind of Language Barrier.
(Most M§ or GFWL Games support only the Region Lang there sold to.)
When I buy as a Customer a US Game i don't want to end up with a German Translation. (btw. i give a **** about Swastika.)
Thanks again and best Regards from snowy Germany.

I don't want to play in German ever. (Only German Games are played in German.)

So after a few month i decided to play LoW again. I tried your Solution an can tell you: It Works.
Thanks again for your Advice.
