I've been thinking about some assumptions we make about deploying mixed type formations such as HF with supporting LF. It is perfectly possible to deploy these in funny formations, say with the LF in the first or second rank (maybe so they could shoot - the reasoning why you might do this is not so important).

Should this be allowed at all?

Is there a way for the player to move the BG and reorganise the internal make-up of the formation - say move the LF rank to the rear?
