Can anyone tell me whether a patch has been developed for the following in CEAW 2.10?

Denmark and Norway/Automatic entry: Sometime in 1940, if Germany has not yet attacked them, each of these countries joins the war on the side of the Allies. However, at the beginning of the next turn, they are already occupied by German garrison forces in each of their cities. Thus, Germany gains automatic control of these countries without ever having to fight for them. I assume this is a bug?

France: Also in 1940, when I was playing the Allies, France suddenly, automatically offered an armistice even though I was successfully holding Germany to the Low Countries. Further, it offered an armistice to the ALLIES. I rejected it and continued using Free French forces. I assume this is also a bug?

They programmed Norway and Denmark to automatically join the Allies in March 1940 so they could help the German AI conquer these countries very easily. The program puts garrisons in each city in Norway which is great. In the Strategic War in Europe game they have Germany DoW Norway but then don't put in any garrisons so it is super easy for a British player to load up units on ships to take Norway from Germany without a fight. This "event" for having the AI take down Norway and Denmark is a good thing.

As for France you forgot to read the rule about having to garrison Paris in June of 1940 or have France automatically offer Germany an armistice. They did this to preclude gamey tricks some players might pull trying to wipe out all French units without taking Paris first.

Watch out for the Afrika Korps in February 1941 magically showing up between Benghazi and Tobruk even if you've taken all Italian cities in Libya.

Thank you. I see the programming for France now. That's fine. It means there is something I can do to avoid the French capitulation if I do not want it.

I don't agree about the AI event for Norway being "a good thing". It's deterministic and does not allow me to play the game in a way different from historical events. It would be preferable for the two countries to remain neutral, if they have not been attacked by either side at that point.
