I'm not getting the crash though. Can you reproduce it?

Unfortunately, no I can't reproduce it either. I've gone back and reloaded the game a couple of times but no joy with reproducing the freeze and crash.

And yes, those Leviathans keep running me further and further away from the coast. Get away from one and the other pops up again, or a different one.
