My apologies if this has been asked already.

I see that under V2 I must buy at least 4 bases of FF if I take any at all. But I can't see that there is any requirement for them to be deployed together?

I expected FF in V2 to be similar to FoGR but that doesn't seem to be the case.

What have I missed?

I have read the sections that seem to apply and I agree with your understanding. If you have missed something I cannot spot it.
