I have recently gotten into FoG.... Ok become obsessed with it. Fantastic game. To date my only irk with it is when I go to the DAG I am taunted by an image of Wolves from the Sea with a big yellow Coming Soon! over it. I looked around and there does not seem to be much information about how soon is soon. Does anyone know what the release schedule is like for this one? I am biting at the bit for some Viking and Carolingian action.

That makes sense to me. Now I need to look into what this whole transfer to Unity (whatever that might be) is about.

Its pretty basic, the current version of FOG was designed with visual Basic, they are porting this over to a Unity engine exactly as is is now (but fixing any known bugs) . This change will allow better performance as well as open the engine up to be much more flexible for possible changes. I dont beleive though we will have any radical changes in the game engine, at least not at ist. Only Slitherine knows waht will be in store for the future but I suspect that there might be some modest game play changes or tweeks and maybe some addon stuff. My guess is down the road the new unity engine will be a springboard for new games outright. (maybe FOG2, Ren, napoleon??)
As for how the tranfer works , they have made it clear that your base game and any expansions you own can be converted to the unity update free of charge.
