Louis XIV

Ok guys, so I ran my late Later Louis XIV a little earlier the other night and feel that it is a better army. I'm now thinking of the Armoured Cavalier period (1661-1669) and using my 1670+ army.
Does anyone have access to better information to me? Can they let me know if I'm going to use the figures I painted up for 1670+ be ok to use as Cavaliers (1661-1669)? My general opinion is 'yes'. Sure, they won't have cuirasses, but I think that's a minor thing. The figures are so small that you can't really see them. I would prefer to HAVE them with cuirasses, but I don't have the figures so... - but the overall uniform I think is the same.
