Burst Through Clarification

Hi All,

wading through digital rules and playing a sample game we came up with a question...

When making an initial route move do troops "burst through" friends that they could normally interpenetrate:

EG: light infantry slingers route with good order roman legionaires behind...do they "burst through" the legion, thus causing disruption?

Later in the normal JAP phase I am happy they can interpenetrate, its just the initial move that we were debating.

It didn't feel that they should...but couldn't find a reference in the rules to argue my case!

thanks

Mike

No - it is implicit on Page 50, I guess 8-12 in digital? And again on Page 51 - 8-14? ..."forced to burst through othr BGs that they cannot normally interpentrate."

So, if you can normally interpenetrate, you will not burst through.
