Hi guys

we've just sent out mails to everyone who has applied as of yesterday. If you were selected for stage 1 you'll be receiving a mail any time now with your serial number and access to the private beta forum.

If you did not make it you'll also receive a mail letting you know and that you should not give up as we'll regularly be adding more people over time as we go.

Congratulations to everyone who got in! See you in the beta!

NOTE: We use our newsletter service to contact everyone and I noticed there were a small number of people who applied for the beta who have chosen to never receive mails from us, and if you do this you wont be able to participate and we wont even be able to mail you to let you know if you are in or out. If you don't receive a mail from us this is probably the reason.

Please do sign me up for next set of beta tests. I would be honored to test the game.

I registered on February 2 for the Beta and I never received an email at all saying I was in or out. I checked my user settings and had checked yes to receive emails. Guess I just didn't make the cut.

Check your email Spam box. I've had stuff go there that shouldn't.

Hello! Still waiting on an invite to Beta Test Pandora.

We are unable to mail some people as they have opted out of receiving mails from us. This is not something we can do anything about unfortunately.

I just signed up for the beta. As there is no field to say "why would you be a good beta-tester?", I figured I'd mention here I'm the designer of the popular Planetfall total conversion mod for Civ4, it being an Alpha Centauri reimagining/remake. I also have experience beta-testing Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword and Civ5: Gods & Kings.

Alas, due to being new I can't use the url tag to link to a Planetfall forum.

Me too... have more invites gone out since the February 8th batch? I've only received the one email on February 8 saying I was not selected.

Yes more have been added but we have so much demand and limited places we are not able to get everyone in yet.

Something I'm not clear on:

If we didn't get into the first round of beta-testing, are we still registered for later rounds? Or do we need to re-register for every round?

You're still registered and we're constantly expanding the beta! Hang in there, we appreciate and look forward to everyone's feedback!

I left them empty, does it mean that you cant send me beta ? If so, where can i change these settings?
After registering i see on this page http://www.slitherine.com/beta_test/PandoraPC Pandorra picture and empty link .
What do i need to get it ?

Is there currently a beta test for the Mac version? I'd sign up for that if there is, as I've always played and loved these kind of games. (SMAC in particular was a long-time favorite of mine back when I had PCs.) I went to sign up from the Mac product page, but the next page said "Pandora - PC", so I'm suspecting there isn't a Mac beta test (or at least not yet).

Beta test is running for all three platforms: Windows, Mac and Linux.

Applied but not yet accepted (got email). New video looks good though!
