Hello All!

Please let us know what screen resolution you use to run Panzer Corps. If your resolution is not listed, choose the one which is closest to yours (especially in height).

If you play the game on more than one PC, choose 2 answers which best sum up your experience.

Feel free to post in this topic and share any observations about how well Panzer Corps works with your screen resolution and what could be improved.

Thanks!

I'm playing at 1920x1200. And I'm suprised how uncommon this resolution is becoming, it's not even in the poll.

The game runs perfectly fine though, I never had any interface issues whatsoever.

Actually, I have 1920x1200 myself. :) But yeah, standard full HD resolution (1920x1080) seems to be way more popular for larger monitors these days.

Sitting on an older 4:3 monitor, I either play in 1152x854 or 1280x960. Voted 1280x800 as a compromise..

I'm too at 1920x1200. After all I primarily buy a display for my computer to work with it, not to watch blue-ray. I got a tv for that.
BTW I like how fullscreen works in this game. It's more like fullscreen borderless window. Very convenient when using two displays. Only strange is that sometimes the game "captures" the mouse back to the primary display even when on the other display. Guess has to do with the way the game locks the mouse.

On my old laptop I used to play on 1280x800, on my new laptop I play on 1920x1080. I have never had any problems on either, but the higher resolution really shows of the work you put in to the units.

Voted 1920x1080, but as with many others still got a traditional PC sized 1920x1200 monitor.

At the moment I use a HD monitor (1920x1080) but its only because in my region a higher resolution monitor is not yet available at a reasonnable price, I think that this may change in the near future. I would personnaly follow the "arm race" if the game designers would, in the future versions of the game, increase the resolution of the icons and maps.

Interesting, from 61 people who have voted so far, not a single person is using a 1024x600 resolution. Have you guys heard of anybody at all playing this game on a netbook?

PS. This poll is really important for us to understand how to approach the UI in future games. If you have not voted already, please do.

Just make sure the UI and game scales probably for whatever funny resolution and aspect ration we may have in the future. :) I would not be surprised if PanzerCorps is still actively played in 10 or even 15 years. It's actually quite a problem with several old titles (Steel Panthers, War in the Pacific come to my mind) that are horrible with today's settings.
But I guess the main concern here is scaling the UI for smaller resolutions/screens on mobile devices?

1440x900 and 1920x1080. Laptop / Desktop.

Edit: I am waiting to buy a 7" or 10" tablet. Heard of upcoming 1920x1080 or at least ~1280x800 tablets. I want something like the Galaxy Tab from Samsung, I need SD card slots and the Nexus 7 unfortunately doesn't have any.

Edit 2: Not having any trouble with the UI at both resolutions.

My desktop resolution is 5760 x 1200 (Eyefinity triple display), and I would love to be able to play Panzer Corps using the full screen area. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get this work, so I generally run it in a window on one of my screens.

Wow, if there will ever be a Pacific Corps or sth like that you can probably use the two extra monitors to display the entire Pacific around an island...! ;)

I'm playing the game on a netbook it's 1366x768 (not all the netbooks are so small as people think)
and on a dual monitor setup, both run at 1366x768. Dual monitor is pretty usessless with PC, I get much more of old Allied general (where I can move parts of the interface to the second monitor).
