Can BG with different maximum move distances shift as a battle line?
For example cataphracts and cavalry. As a battle line their max is 4 MU. But as BG their max is 4 or 5.

The maximum move distance of the Battle line is that of the slowest BG. (8-2)

Battle Lines can (only) make Advances. (8-3)

An Advance is permitted to include a shift if all bases move full distance straight forward (and other stuff like distances etc). I see no reason that a mixed Battle Line could not shift if it has moved its full distance straight forward (and the other stuff is OK).
