Second Moves

Hi Folks,

Could I get a second moves clarification please?

If two units are side by side with a commander, and each unit turns 90 degrees and advances to their left with the commander are they entitled to a second move? Or does the turn and move as individual units not count as moving as a single battleline and therefore a second move is not possible? Even if the units were LH and the turn and move was a simple move in the first instance.

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers

Matthew

Hi Matthew

The 2 units are unable to turn and move together as a battle line so you would need 2 commanders to do the move. Even then with heavier troops you may need to pass CMT's with both to turn and move and run the rsik of the second one failing after the first has completed its move.

The risk of one failing is a red herring. But the original point is right. The CMT to turn cannot be done as a battle line, so they did not complete the first move together hence no second move together
