shooty armies are not super winners ( I'm not afraid of them 8)
elephants are poor beast for war ( I prefer to see them in natural environnement  )

my 2nd game is now added to my site also.

Ive opened it up to the world, but not told anyone yet. There is a counter on the bottom f each FoG report page so you can see the traffic it generates. :P

I will post the link on the DBM and other lists once I get a couple more battles added

Yep - there are conditions, but he is still in shock since I unveiled the truth of "MaB" to him at Britcon, so they aren't too strenuous

Great stuff Tim.

One rules point:

The handgunners behind your spears in the 4th game would not affect their close combat cohesion test modifiers (a) because the -1 for being shot at by firearms only counts when actually testing for being shot at, and (b) because they were skirmishers and hence did not constitute a flank threat.

I said their presence "disconcerted" my spearmen, not that it "gave them a -1 CT modifier" :P It certainly looked disconcerting from where I was sat :!:

If you are going to enjoy this game you need to use a little imagination, not be quite so literal 8) !!

Indeed. OTOH for all I knew you had not read the rules properly and I might have been doing you a huge favour by informing you of your grievous error, thus saving you from defeat and despair on a future occasion.

On that theme of defeat and despair, my final two games are now added to the site, along with a summary of how I felt the games went etc.

If anything is outside the scope of what I should be saying, drop me a line ad I'll tweak it.

Tim, how does this compare to normal traffic for a DBM battle report?

Hard to say as I put special tracking code into these reports to track these pages specifically, however normally my entire set of match reports (all the reports combined, going back to 1999) generate about an average 70 page impressions per day (from Google adsense tracking - the Fog specific stuff you can access from my site comes from Statcounter).

When I post a new report the Google stats can go up to as high as 700 on some days with some reports, but more usual is for it to peak around 250-300 per day. The FoG stuff has seen 5 days of more than 300 in the past 2 weeks, which is quite a lot.

The difference with the FoG ones seems to be that there has been a more sustained interest, and traffic to the battle reports has been running between 150 and 580 pages per day in the 2 weeks since I posted (and promoted) these reports. Normally other ones peak and drop off quite quickly.
