Maybe if you post what you have and what they have and the battlefield people will be able to suggest something, Most people wont remember the scenario from its name.

Playing on PS2 I have:
Leader 20
Militia 15,14
Skirmishers 14,14
Javelinman 8
Archers 13,9,2
Spearmen 17
Warrior 16,13
Fanatic 12,9
Veterans 3,1
Scouts 19,16
Nobles 17,12

Roman's have:
Leader 13
Peasants 10 x 5
Militia 10 x 6
Auxilia 11 x 2
Legionary 7,13,15x2
Auxiliary cavalry 11,13

Battleground all open.
Romans attack in 3 waves Peasants, Militia, the rest.
In compiling the stats I notice my mistake, should keep all the missiles for the last wave!

You should be able to shoot the peasants and militia to pieces as they have no shields. The Legionaries will be tougher to take out but if you can get rid of the early waves quickly with minimal casualties you should be able to swarm them. Be sure to try and get the Legionaries in to the difficult terrain if you are using warriors as they'll be much more effective in there.
