Unit editor ?!

Hi there,
I have FOG and awaited a lot, but I'm very dissapointed for the list of units for some countries. For my dacians for example, it's a really pitty. Some falxmen and some archers, that's all. Probably somebody don't know history well or didn't make some proper documentations. But, I'm asking if is any way to mod or use an editor to place more units, even with new custom self-made graphics, to wash this ''shame''
Cheers.

it is possible to add your own units and your own graphics into the game but it's kinda time consuming. At the moment i'm working on adding LOTR units i got from Third Age Total war into the game using milkshape and screenshots. Essentially you need a picture of each facing South SW NW North NE SE. Then you gotta fit each facing into the already existing images in the game. THEN you gotta do all the xml editing to get your unit with the proper stats and name n such into the game. Once you've done all that you can use your unit in any custom made scenario. You cant edit the DAG lists because that could be used to cheat on multiplayer games. Least i think so, haven't tested it out to be sure.
Anyway if your not daunted by all that work id answer any questions on adding units you have and be happy to give more info about changing graphics and adding units.

i got like a dozen units ingame, but each unit has its own unique guys as opposed to just 3, 5 or 6 guys that are all the same. I attached a screenshot of 3 finished units i got.

Unbelievable good work. Keep on. Can you guide me more detailed how you start making new units, step by step, if you don't mind, I'm a newbie here, but trying to make more accurate my old country Dacia for FOG. Off-course, on private mail, to not
overcharge this forum. Thank you very much.
Have a nice day.

OK. Seems you don't. So how do you import the screenshots into milkshape ?

go under the materials tab and click on watever groups are there then select none and you should get a popup asking for the texture, direct it to wherever you have your texure and select it. Also make sure your texture is in DDS format. If you need more help theres video tutorials for milkshape on adding textures; like this one
