Hi,

Very eager to play the reincarnation of one of my all time favourite game Panzer General 2. Just purchased the game, updated it to the latest version and try to run. During, if I click on a mouse, or after the introduction movie the game crash immediately with the following message from Windows:

"PanzerCorps.EXE has stopped working"

I've try setting up under different resolution but no go.

HELP!!!

Open the folder where you've installed Panzer Corps and rename the folder "Video" to "_Video". If you're still having the issue, than rename also "Audio" to "_Audio".
Check the game and report back.

OK done and here are the outcomes.

Changing Video to _Video result in the game not launching at all.
Changing Audio to _Audio and the game runs, yeah! However, there's no sound at all

Looks like changing the Audio file will launch the game but how can I have sound at the same time?

Something in your system is conflicting or have broken Windows MCI.

Tell me, do you have any Video/Audio codec pack installed, like K-Lite?

I believe I have installed that along with DIVX. How do I overcome the conflict?

Try uninstalling the package and install an older version that seems to work better.

I've tried as you've suggested and still no sound. The intro movie have sound but not the game. Please suggest other alternative.

Have you renamed the _Audio folder back to Audio? If you have not then you won't hear the sound as the game won't be able top find it which was the idea of renaming it in the first place. If you have then i rather leave you in VPaulus more experienced hands for further diagnostics.
