Up Front, the other Steel Panthers ....

I own the genuine Up Front card game ala Squad Leader, the only thing wrong with it, is I have played it so often and it looks like it.
Modern computer generated graphics though sure could make this game look great.
But if I read one more %$#&*# thread about it being re printed, re released, kickstarted and or revised I think I will beat up a puppy.
What precisely is the problem with Up Front and Steel Panthers?
In 20 years of wargaming, not one game has a bloody chance in hell of out performing these two self evident perfect games if only we could get them somehow back into the world of wargaming.
Steel Panthers, yes we all &%$#&*# know it is a SSI game owned by another company that appears totally uninterested in making money from it (no idea why).
And I know who owns Up Front, and you would thing the company that owns Magic the Gathering and Pokefrigginmoncrap could support reprinting our %$#&*# card game Up Front.
But nooooooo, I am stuck here waiting for two wargames that will never appear in my life time that's for sure.
Is it really too hard for anyone out there to just remake the game, not be stupid enough to call it the same name, and just change enough of the design that they can make the game and give the bird to any that might be pissed off that someone finally did what should have been done 10 years ago?
It doesn't reeeeeeeally need to be called Up Front. Heck we are getting by calling Battlefield Academy Battle Academy because some shitty orgre company got in a snit over their presumed ownership of the word Battlefield. And we wargamers like to think we are a clever lot, so I don't think any of us will be incapable of connecting the damned dots. 'Hey guys, heard of the new card game called Frontline?, yeah it looks amazingly like Squad Leader eh, awesome'.
And the same for Steel Panthers. I mean shit, it's just a damned game where squads and tanks and guns compete for terrain in WW2 from a top down graphics view point and based on a turn using concept. WE DON'T NEED IT TO BE 3D AND REAL TIME!! Did that come through clear enough for ya? If you want 3d and real time, THERE ARE ALREADY OODLES OF THEM OUT THERE!! So stop trying to screw up the remake of a game that isn't supposed to be 3d and real time.
Sheesh. How long must I wait for someone to finally get it in their heads we want these games?
