I am proposing to run a 15 mm demonstration game of the Battle of Flodden Field 1513 at "Overlord" in March 2013 in Abingdon. I am currently painting the tons of figures need for the game but have one major problem -how do I represent the Scottish heavy guns? While there are references to "Mons Meg" being there in some articles, other say it was not there. What did the Scottish heavy artillery look like and who makes suitable figures in 15 mm?

Lucky we decided on something else then - we were going to do Flodden in 28mm with Impetus, but decided on 15mm Peninsula war instead. We were a tad short on pikes, 2 bases for the Scots army really wasn't going to cut it. I sympathise with your pile of painting...

Yes, We have to paint 280 Scottish Pike bases (4 to a base) plus 110 English HW bases. With luck we should have 180 plus Pike bases done by the New Year

Don't forget to put on the Woad. William Wallace wore it, and that was only a few hundred years prior.
