Yea yea I know I should pay more attention to stray planes flying to the corners of the map....but sheeesh! I enable the unmoved unit toggle and every turn I have to look over hordes of unmoved ground units not requiring my attention...but the planes!...I need to know about those, badly.

Why can't the unmoved unit toggle warning be made to work for planes only hmmm?....well hmmmm?

Use the Overviewmap and toggle to air view, there u will see where ur planes are and if they moved or not.

This honestly never ever happens to me. I think the red haze in the field of movement is clear enough warning about the need to refuel and you'll never skip an unmoved unit again by using n (next) and z (sleep one turn) hot keys.

Really Shrike? I do not agree at all. If you are playing a huge mapped mod scenario with large numbers of units, 36 turns and a criteria that the scenario ends after the last turn... once you've achieved the abjectives early and are just playing out the turns, it gets boring to sit there and cycle through large numbers of unmoved units then end turn and wait for the AI to calculate just so you cylce through endless units and end turn and wait... then it is very easy to miss a plane that is in the clutter or under a ground unit but not adjacent to an airfield. And just wait until you play Chris' Mod with hundreds of units...

If the units don't do anything in such a scenario anymore, then why don't you just park them on an air field... I still don't get this...

I lost some planes during GC due to lack of fuel also. Sometimes you just lose an airfield to enemy ground units and your low on fuel plane can“t make it to your safe airfield further back...

I did lose some planes too in the GC. I'd love to have a separate warning for it as option...esp. on bigger maps i'd put it on.

This same thing happened to me once as well and I lost 3 planes due to not paying attention...once. So I had to reload and replay those turns BUT It hasn't happened since and I am sure you can guess why?
Not such a big deal in my opinion  even if you have 100 units you can cycle through them once at most twice to get to the airfield.

I pretty much consider this a patterns that runs through all of the gameplay, not just fueling planes. When you get bored or rush things you start making mistakes, and the game usually kicks your butt for it. Either you lose a plane or a weak core unit gets crushed or a unit that you placed carelessly gets forced into a surrender. If there's one thing I noticed while playing the game and e.g. by watching deductors videos then it's the fact that the key to success in this game is staying focused, concentrated, think about every move and take a break when you start rushing things.
