I would like to purchase the FoG online manual. I use a PC a lot, but we also have an iPad. Is there a way to spend the money once and unlock two different OS versions, for example for the iPad AND PC? That would be horribly convenient.

No, you have to buy the iPad version separately due to the rules Apple imposes for iPad/iPhone apps. Hopefully this will not be true if and when an Android version is available.
