I have just borrowed the Channel 4 (UK) TV series on the First World War from the library and it has some footage of this submarine and the reception the crew received when they arrived in the USA (many Germans were living there). Well worth a look if you get the chance.

Not this one it seems:

"She was taken to Britain and exhibited in London and elsewhere and was eventually sold for scrap in 1921. On 17 September 1921 she was being broken up at Robert Smith and Sons, Birkenhead, when an explosion ripped the ship apart, killing five apprentices."
