Slitherine

I couldn't find what happens to a commander if the BG which he is attached to is completely destroyed with a pursuing BG still in contact. If he survives the death roll does he go to the nearest friendly BG? How far away can that be? What if there are none in range (if there is one)? Is it in the rules (I couldn't find it)?

Page 69 has something on this.
