IPad dropping out of MP Game when IPad Auto-Locks

I've found that if I get busy during MP games and my IPad "auto-locks" (the screen goes blank), when I reactivate the BA App - I'm no longer in the game, but at the main BA Menu. I must go back to multiplayer > reconnect to the server >and redownload the game (having lost everything I had done).
Related to this, MP Security has flagged me for multiple downloads of the game and locked me out (since rectified)

Thanks for letting us know. I thought that I had prevented the screen lock from activating, and I definitely am not sure how the game flow would take you back to the main menu. Are you at the main menu when you again unlock the iPad, or do you need to hit the BA icon on the iPad icon grid to get back into the game (e.g. the game has been terminated and it restarts back into the main menu).
Cheers

I had this happen too before you guys added the save button. Before I used to plug the iPad in - I found that doing that will tell the iPad not to go into auto lock, but also prevents it from losing a Wi-Fi password-based connection.
Now I just save the progress if I have to do something else to prevent game drops.
But if the iPad locks and it takes me out of the game, I'd usually find myself at the main menu, from where I'd have to relog in and reload the game.

Just to note, the save button has always been there - we just (skillfully...) hid it behind the button usually used for retreat - not the best move...
I'm still trying to track down what is going on in this instance. I didn't think it was possible...

I've had a chance to focus on this again - and I think I was getting fooled. Neither the Auto-Lock nor the manual locking knocks me out of the game. It seems to simply be a question of how many memory large other Apps that I run before I try to run BA again.
