Is there a command line parameter (like, say, -novid or -nosound) to start the game without the intro or sound ? It´s not a big deal, but the video, as nice as it may be, makes a lot of unnescessary noise giving away what is happening at the computer ....

I don't know about any command line options to disable the intro video or sound but you can just rename the folders which contain the video or sound. They are located where you installed your Panzer Corps and are named Video and Audio. Just rename them to _Video if you want to disable the intro video and _Sound if you want to disable the ingame sound. If you want one or both back back just rename them back. Sound can be of course muted or lowered in the ingame settings as well.
