Just looking for an answer, if a unit of infantry non shock are fighting a unit of shock infantry in what way can the non shock infantry break off.

I'm unsure about foot break offs.

The bullet point on page 138 says about foot breaking off:

"Foot can break off if they are DISRUPTED non-shock troops or FRAGMENTED and all their close combat opponents are STEADY non-shock foot"

Does this mean that disrupted non-shock foot can break off from any troops (including shock mounted and shock foot).
But if fragmented (shock or non shock) troops, they can only break off if all their opponents are steady non shock foot?
OR:
Disrupted or fragmented non-shock troops can only break off from steady non-shock foot?

I think it means that non-shock foot can break off if disrupted or fragmented, but shock foot can only break off if fragmented AND foot can only break off if all their close combat opponents are steady non shock foot.
