I wanted to transfer my saved game files from my laptop to my desktop for AK, but I can't find any saved game files in the data folder....where are they?

Look in 'My Documents' then under 'games' or such. they are in your user personal folders, not in the game system folders. This confused me at first, too.

That is operating system correct bahavior. If the game wanted to save to the system folder you'd have to run it in admin mode all the time. This was wrong behavior on all windows systems, but until Vista everybody was pretty much running as admin all the time, which was a security leak. So saving to mydocuments is actually the correct behavior for a program.

Plus saving to "My Documents" makes it a heckuva lot easier to keep your saved games backed up!
