Field fortifications

I just heard that the opponent can see your field fortifications in the deployment phase. This seems completely ridiculous, as not only does it make field forts a lot less useful(they were fairly bad to begin with), it makes it so that the attacking player(who lost initiative) has more use of field forts than a defending one.

I hope this is changed in the new version.

Agree, I also feel the entire deploy process is flawed anyways, very rarely would a commander deploy his army and , tadah, theres the enemy army once the magic curtain lifts...
I suggested once they have a deploy phaze like the TT where a player deploys a predesignated 25% of his BG's at a time, and the player that wins initiative deploys his last 25% last.
Drawback of course, is 4 turns need to be passed before the game starts BUT something like this should/could be optional anyhow.

I totally agree with TheGrayMouser. At least half the army at each turn.

Yes agree with TGM.Should be able to deploy your army as per TT rules or at least hide Half.As for the Field fortifications yes rather silly for an opponent to be able to see them on setup.

fortifications must be more cheap and deployable in advanced line, this is fondamental for certain armies like hussites and ottomans :)
