I ran a 1915 Entente scenario, balanced, and disbanded the entire French army.

NM losses seemed to be the same for France as for Russia. One per city, two per fortified city, twelve for the capital, ten for the battle fleet.

But this was odd. Once the Germans reached the line Rouen-Paris-Dijon, they stopped! There was not a single French unit on the map, but the Germans didn't move any further for months. Perhaps at some point they would have, but I got bored waiting and quit.

I did note that the fall of Paris put off Italian entry. I think that's what happened anyway.

yup. if the entente is losing the war their allies wont join, same for the axis i suppose. if you manage to kill austria before bulgaria joins they wont join, i think. untill you start winning again, then the countdown starts from where it was frozen before.
