The complete GJS'44 campaign for June 7th is now available for download...

Our latest update includes the following maps ("aerial recon" map screenshots below):

June 6th - Gold beach assault... It's just you, Tom Hanks, and a shedload of MG and mortar fire...
June 6th - Juno beach assault
June 6th - Sword beach assault
June 7th - Paras attack city of Caen versus a low-morale volksgrenadier garrison
June 7th - Paras defend Vimont to disrupt German supply lines
June 7th - Paras defend Villers-Bocage to disrupt German supply lines
June 7th - Wounded Brit mixed-armour brigade (fresh from the beach) heads inland towards Hillman Battery
June 8th - Brit infantry brigade attempts to outflank Ouistreham fortifications
June 8th - Canadians must cross a heavily defended river to reach Buron
June 8th - Brit mechanised brigade reaches the northern edge of Bayeux

Both MP players can use their first turn to deploy. Deployment zones are related to the direction from which their battle group (BG) came. See the wider GJS'44 Strat Map below. If a BG dropped from the air, its units won't be too far from where the gliders and parachutes are (which may not be immediately visible to the defenders! ;-)).

Some of the German units fighting on June 7th are marked with asterisks (*). This indicates that their BG is "out of supply" and those units suffer morale penalties...

Happy hunting ladies & gents!

Recon flights reveal high level overviews for our four new maps for June 8th.
GJS'44 Strat Map is shown in the top right corner of each battle map below.
(Don't hold military intel to exact locations of VP flags, but our spooks advise that you should encounter terrain similar to this)

OUISTREHAM
Ouistreham would have been a bloodbath for an Allied attack from the ocean.
But could a cunning Allied attack from the west be successful? How open is that road?
Image

BURON
Buron is where Panzer Meyer's Hitlerjugend chewed up the Canadians.
However, II/736/716 doesn't have Meyer's 12th SS PzIV squadrons.
Can these recently merged survivors hold the crossing?
Image

BAYEUX
Bayeux was actually liberated on D-Day itself, June 6th, lightly "defended by only female German typists" Allied commanders would later claim.
How will the as yet untested II/744/711 perform against the fresh might of 9/3 mech/armour brigade?
Image

CAEN
Ding, ding, Caen, round 2... In a shock development, Allied paratroopers captured the regional city of Normandy on June 7th.
This is urban warfare extreme... where infantry delight... Can the paras hold out against a mechanised assault?

Hey BAR,

Are you looking for the GJS'44 campaign maps? Or the GJS'44 Open Tourney maps?
This thread is now a little old, and you can pick up both of the current versions from here -> viewtopic.php?f=87&t=40441

However, checking above, the download instructions (for the campaign) are pretty much what you have here.
1. Are you copying the URL exactly as above? BA will let you cut and paste (use the +)
2. Do you have a previous version of GJS'44 already installed? If you do, BA won't let you install the new one until you delete the old (steps 3-7).

It should work, but you may have discovered something new. If you can explain more (exactly what's happening at step 12 for you), I'll see if I can fix?

Good luck!
