All,
As it is less than two weeks to go, thought is was probably time that we try to sort out what we are doing.
Steve and I are hoping to arrive by about 2.00 pm (traffic permitting)
We don,t mind playing as a pair or seperately.
However, if we are to play seperately we will need to bring two armies as both of us are playing in the 25mm DBM comp.

I will be there about lunchtime, but will be wielding a 15mm army. I'm travelling by train so won't be able to bring a 2nd (25mm) army. I don't mind playing 25mm, but someone will have to lend me an army...

Sorry Neil I should have made it clear, I am talking about 15mm.

I except to be their late morning on the Friday.
Happy to assist in amongst the mainstream organising of FOG.
If I get time I am going to create 1 roughly 1000pt a side historical game to go on a table as well.
Sounds like that is enough for 1 or maybe 2 x 1000 pt game at least.
Any other takers?

I wouldn't mind a game on the Friday afternoon.
Obviously given the long journey I am going to make (a huge 10 miles) then I could bring another army.

I'll boost my Britons to 1000pts as one army. Just boost your dave and we will have 4 there anyway

Lynda and I are coming up Thursday and while we are sticking with DBM comps for the moment we wouldn't be averse to giving someone a FOG game,we.re a bit rusty, figures may need to be borrowed,Lynda is using Hindus ,as yet unlisted ,I have Yuan, again I've not seen that list, could make it Ming though

Why not join in with us Dave. I can share the Britons on one table with someone .

Probably leaving London around 10ish, with a stopoff on the way, so getting there mid afternoon. Will be great to see the real experts at work before the comp starts

How can that be though? You are seeded second
I was kind of hoping to get a response from The Don and Steve - do we know who is playing who yet?

Dave,
What kind of response would you like
Steve and I should be there by lunch time. I will be working out a 1000 points army today.
Sounds to me as if you may have just put yourself forward as games organiser
Tim,
As I am not playing in the comp, not sure I count as anything. Even lost my top spot in the rankings. All down hill from here
See you all tomorrow.

I'll be getting the Britcon lunchtime tomorrow and will be looking for a "doubles" friendly. A few people (for example, Dave Maddigan) will be interested in playing in a FoG doubles in the afternoon as a friendly, even if they're playing in other rules sets for the comp.

I suspect that JD may want anyone who takes part to have signed an NDA.

Ian might be ok with people playing without an NDA so long as they don't get copies of the rules and don't really have a chance to read them in detail. Definitely worth asking!

I beleive that Dave has signed the NDA. I agree with Bruce - if someone wants to take a few commands under instruction from their pairs partner then I don't see it as an issue - but I accept that JD may feel otherwise.

I think everyone will need to be NDA covered I'm afraid
I am aiming to be there for midday and Matt and I willing to play a doubles game with me hopping off a bit to organise things as needed.
See you tomorrow - just packed the toys

OK,
So as far as I can see the following people are turning up with 1000 points of toys:
Simon Hall
Don McHugh
Dave Madigan (maybe)
Steve Hacker
Me
Neil Hammond
We aren't sure whether Dave M is able to play or not - could somebody bring an NDA with them if appropriate?
Everybody is planning to get there at around noon?
I guess we take it from there!
