Any recommendations for me? I love Battle Academy but I don't like so much Unity of Command or Panzer Corps... Played some of the original Close Combats but couldn't get to like them either.

Do you prefer tactical or strategic games and real time or turn based?

I have played Commander - Europe at war. It is quite entertaining. So I could recommend that.

Unfortunately the latest "Commander - The Great War" is not included in the sale. Will it be yet?

No it only just released!

The normal rule is that a game doesn't go on sale in the year it was released. Our hardcore fans are the early adopters and we don't want to punish them for picking up the game as soon as its available as they are our life blood. Instead we make it at least a year till the game goes on sale and then the discounts are around the 30-35% level. The is is very different from the standard model used by others where they discount very early and extremely steeply. It's one of the things that makes us different from the rest and why we have such a dedicated fan base.

Tactical mostly, strategic also but wargames ara a bit out of reach. Turn based also much preferable... I loved games like incubation, xcom, silent storm, also Civ series... as I said Battle Academy was perfect for me, not sure it can get better than that. Well except for the second part

Last year Panzer Corps was on sale even though it had not been out a year. I was hoping the Afrika Korps expansion would be included with the holiday sale this year, but I still can't complain, $20.00 for the download is very reasonably priced considering all the effort put into it.

If you like turn based strategy maybe Commander Europe at War.

Does this sale apply to the Battle Academy expansions on the Ipad?

Nice promo, large selection! But I am a tad disappointed to see that the Panzer Corps DLC-s are not included.

Will Sliterine ever be selling the 'Distant Worlds' series of games on behalf of Matrix or do I have to go an buy them directly from Matrix Games (incuring VAT when they arrive by the way!)

Only title I have failed to get an urge for, is Panthers in the Fog. I have all the previous, but unless I am playing a human, it lacks some sparkle for me personally. I sold off my Columbia Games "Front series" board games for much the same reason. A game that can't be played solo reasonably rarely competes easily with titles that can (in my view).

You're right this is quite crazy but maybe it opens up the game to more undecided people like me. I played the Demo and was already considering buying it for $19.99 but now with this price you simply cannot go wrong.

We're planning to add Distant Worlds next year when we get a chance.... but you wont pay any import duty if you buy from Matrix. We both ship to Europe from our warehouse in Germany.

Is the Mac version of Napoleon Commander available? I had previously purchased it from Freeverse but have had a computer crash since then and cannot locate the game online (except for here?) - except for the demo....
