Would like more options

With only 3 levels of AI strength (and one of those being 'broken' at the moment) I am really left wanting more options to make the game more playable for me. Examples would be like the ability to turn off fog of war, randome research etc. Much like the many options available in CEaW that made it easier to transition to another difficulty level... As it is the AI is pretty damn good, I have found my first few games to be pretty much frustrating rather than challenging.
Anyone else feeling like these options would help your enjoyment of the game?

I'm really sorry about the 'Restricted' difficulty level...

hopefully fixing this in the upcoming first patch will make the game a little less frustrating.

Well I am impressed with the AI, it's ability to react or force a reaction to exploit an advantage is pretty amazing. I suppose without having a true 'easy mode' level available is making my learning curve too steep. The advantages that the enemy gets in units or in PP is just difficult to overcome right out of the box! I'm still going to try, but I'm also anxiously awaiting the patch!

Yes, I am finding it very hard too. I can barely survive until the end of 1915 as the Central Powers on "balanced". I definitely need a lower level to learn on (I know a patch is coming). If I make a small mistake at any point I get massively punished. It is a bit odd because I have been playing Field of Glory on PC for the last two years and the AI there is dreadfully weak - now the AI in this game is incredibly strong. It may be the case with both games that you use the AI just to learn the basics of the game and that you will get your best games online against another player.

Yup... I'm currently playing MP against my older brother who has been handily defeating me at wargames for the better part of three decades so I am not sure I will learn much!
