If you have the Mac-demo installed, will you then be able to activate the full game by entering the cd-key into the "demo" ?
- and then install patch 2.0.7 on top from a DVD ?
I am asking, because my son is currently living in Shanghai, and a very fluctuating network connection makes it absolutely difficult to download large files.
Therefore, I'm considering to burn a DVD with the Mac-demo and patch 2.0.7, and send it to him.
We've gotta get this to run!

The demo cannot be activated as it doesn't include the same file set as the full game, so unfortunately you need the 2.0.7 file to be able to run the full version.

So downloading, and burning only the 2.0.7 patch to a dvd will do the trick, if I would send the game ?
The 2.0.7 patch is a "standalone", and contains everything needed ?

They will need an installer file too. I think the current installer is 1.8 (you would get the link when you buy), and then you would install 2.0.7 over an installed version. The 2.0.7 update cannot be installed by itself.
