Believe me, if I could, I would pass this Windows version. But I work as an IT, so... I really don't have any chance to escape it.Tarrak wrote:Don't install it.VPaulus wrote:I'll check it as soon as my Windows 8 upgrade arrive.Windows 8 got a terrible UI for a use in a desktop computer. It may be great with a touch screen but with a mouse it's just a pain in the ass imho. I tried it and hated it wholeheartly.
It's possible to change the display, it could be used with a "tablet" interface (inusable on desktop pc...) or the normal one, which is the same as windows 7. I tried it 1day mhh... 8-9 months ago, don't know if something's changed in the meanwhile so don't ask me how to make the interface changingTarrak wrote:Don't install it.VPaulus wrote:I'll check it as soon as my Windows 8 upgrade arrive.Windows 8 got a terrible UI for a use in a desktop computer. Try out "Classic Shell". That should solve your problems. The newest version was adapted to Win8Don't install it. Windows 8 got a terrible UI for a use in a desktop computer. ...
Thx that could really make Windows 8 more usable i just do not see any advantage yet for me for using Windows 8 over 7. i just stick with 7 for a while and wait what happens.huertgenwald wrote:Try out "Classic Shell".
