New computer installation-trouble with map view toggling

I installed PC on a new computer (laptop, OS=Win 7/64 and widescreen). I am having a problem with the map view toggling on it's own - never had this problem before. I also installed 1.11 at the same time, so multiple things changed at once - PC version, OS, and hardware.

It happens on two occasions, a) sometimes when I click on a unit to move it, the screen will suddenly toggle from the close-up view to the wide view, and b), sometimes after hitting "end turn," it will automatically toggle to the wide view for the computer's turn.

I don't know why this happens, and don't see any consistent thing I'm doing that could force it (Is there even a way to switch views other than the PgUp/PgDn keys? I don't know of one). It's getting fairly annoying as it happens once per turn generally. I didn't have this problem on my old laptop (different OS, different screen dimensions, and 1.10 vs 1.11), so I can't figure out what may be the cause.

Hi Kamerer,
To be honest I haven't seen anyone complaining with such an issue. So this is new territory for me.
The mouse wheel also tweak the view. So your issue might be related with your mouse software or with the touchpad. Maybe disabling one...

Do you have a Lenovo?
Although with different symptoms. I remember a user reporting a mouse problem. I'm not saying this is connected:

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, it's a Lenovo Thinkpad. It might be related to the touchpad and other input, like described in that thread. I found earlier it was really sensitive to even light pressure on the keyboard, more so than even my sensitive earlier Thinkpad; it might be a trigger from a combination of a key input and scrolling. I'll try being very conscious of keeping my idle hand off the keyboard and see if it keeps occurring.
