We want to get feedback regarding installation of Grand Strategy 2.1. Could you please make the vote matching your situation?

The purpose is to find out the percentage of players getting problems with the installer and with what kind of vanilla game people get installations problems with.

It's possible to change your vote in case you had a problem and you fixed it.

Why is there a question about Mac version 2.2? Am I missing something? Anyway, I'm happy to say that 2.1 works just fine.

I did have serious issues with install, Matrix version. When I realized I needed to un-install 2.0 to get a clean install, it was too late because I had tried to install 2.10 over 2.0. At that point, you cannot uninstall 2.0 by itself.
So, I found my 1.12 file and put it in a secure place, my desktop, with the 2.10 download.
Then I uninstalled 2.10 and the original Commander:Europe at War. I deleted related files and folders in my Matrix folder, in the Windows start menu and in documents.
I restarted my computer in case there were ghost files.
Then I reinstalled Commander:Europe at War. Started the game then restarted the computer. Next I installed 1.12. Opened the game and restarted the computer. Finally I installed 2.10.
It worked. I did select original Matrix works well on the survey, because it finally does work well. It did take me some time to figure out the fix for me.
I am Windows 7 64 bit

It was totally worth it. I love the new map and start up. I am certain I will love all the new changes when I get to them.

I have the Matrix version and I did not see any note about uninstalling Gs 2.0, the GS 2.10 installer defaults to a Slitherine folder, but my game copy is in a Matrix folder, I just changed the install to the CEAW folder within the Matrix group, on my HDD and pressed go. Everything worked fine, game is installed with no problems so far.

The results so far are just the same we had in testing. All versions except the original Slitherine version seem to work well.

with vanilla Gold Version its a no brainer..
