Review from long time gamer.

I think your company has put out a good game engine. I enjoy the ease of the game and how it functions.
Graphics are nice, and its easy to play.
Modding is always a +.
I feel the senarios really need more work. I know WW2 history fairly well and the game scales are off for the game. But if you dont know much about WW2 history it doesnt matter.
I dont like the counter symbols used for the game. But this I can alter.
The reasearch seems to be done well, so does supply. I think the ZOC rule is great. Many other games just allow you to zip around units. Combat works well.
I like the simplicity of navies, BBs, DDs, CVs, convoys, transports. That basically sums up all the navies without complications.
Land units are fine, I might add paratroopers and mountain units to the game but really its not that important. I did notice you had extra slots for units in your config files. Are those usable?
The air frame is perfect. fighter, tactical, strategic. Perfect, simple, hits all factors that were important in the air warfare.
Politics could be made more flexable. Like Italy coming in in 6/1940, well really they came in when france fell.
But overall I really like this game. I would say as an overall WW2 grand strategy game it is the best one out there. I have played since Atari 800 days and seen all these types of games. it is a significant improvement over Stratigic Command 2
I do wish you made this game ALL theatres as no one else has done a game on this scale and really I think its a matter of programming and thats all. If you make a "next" in this series I hope it links up to the europe game. I play World in Flames (big board game WW2 grand strategy) and players really like the world war feeling of all theatres available.
What is bad in this game is fixable with the scenario editor you are putting out. I already modded the game for a couple tweaks that I feel make it more historical. I look forward to the editor.
