FoG 2.0 Rules Book won't load in ereader

I've managed to download and install the v2.0 ereader, to register the ereader and to download both the v2.0 rules and "Rise of Rome" issues. I can load & read the "Rise of Rome" issue in the ereader but not the v2.0 rules book. So far support has suggested it's a problem with my internet security package, but I don't believe that is the case. The book downloads - and supposedly I should be able to read it without being on-line.
Here is a picture of the book downloading. The "Rise of Rome" book has already been downloaded and shows up in bright colours. An issue that hasn't been downloaded shows up in faded colours - like the rules book. It's nearly done....file 35 of 37.
Here we see it has successfully downloaded....both books are in bright colours:
Just to show it that this is really true.....I can delete the downloaded book:
However, while I can load the "Rise of Rome", the V2.0 Rules never gets past this point (and I've let it go for nearly an hour):
Fyi - I'm running Windows Vista.
