Are there thoughts to redesign some scenarios of vanilla and grand campaign to take advantage of new improvements?
For example
- new units like gliders in Eben-Emael or Crete
- new objectives like prevent allied units to evade in Dunkirk
- new structures like mines
- ...

We might do this, but not right now. The reason is, in upcoming campaigns we will likely add some more interesting features, and then the idea to revisit old content will come up again. But we cannot possibly revisit it after every expansion. So we better wait a bit with this.

Good reason but it will be a great challenge to keep the balance between the time to wait for more improvements and the time to use the existing improvements for the "old" scenarios. Perhaps it is a possibility to update only a few scenarios after massive improvements than redesign the whole campaign. You'll know of the future enhancement so we have to wait for the right time.

Woo hoo, those are two exciting announcements Rudankort, that future campaigns will have interesting new features and that you are considering updating the older campaigns.

There are several daunting tasks involved though. Any change to past DLC campaigns will need to pass testing to ensure any changes made don't accidently break any of the content. As each past DLC was created, they were put through pretty extensive internal and player BETA tests, one DLC at time. Imagine if we update the 7 past DLC(we'll probably have 10 DLC soon enough BTW) all at once. That's a lot of content, and all of it would need to be re-tested to ensure product quality is maintained.
Thanks in large part to this testing process, we've thankfully never had a crippling issue where a DLC required a patch because some function was seriously impaired (broken victory conditions, imported CORE links not working properly, et cetera).
In addition, distributions of these updates can be somewhat problematic as well. Everyone has the base game, but our players have had the freedom to pick and choose their DLC. Imagine how many download links and mirrors are available when an update for the base game comes out, and multiply that for each individual DLC. How can we devise a system that is clean and efficient, and not overly complex and inaccessible for our users. I would suspect some confusion would arise should someone not only need a patch for the base game, but a different patch for each individual DLC they also own.
Beyond updating old content with new features, you can see there are a lot of tasks involved. Fortunately the DLC, being designed as they are, are still functional and enjoyable without the need to be updated and patched. It would be very unfortunate to fix something that wasn't broken and break something in the process, so any such endeavor would have to be very carefully planned, tested, and executed.

Good call Airbornemongo.
An updated Grand campaign would be cool and i'm sure some of the expert modders here could get round to it one day. Unfortunately i have no modding skills

Maybe you should try one day.

It is not difficult at all, and I'm sure many people here will be willing to help if needed.

We are provided with the means to do this ourselves. I have thought of modding the DLC East with the new features provided in the editor myself, but I do not have sufficient knowledge to alter AI orders. To do that I would need another five years of reading WW2 operational history books.
There are some highly educated folks here. Maybe we can start putting down ideas regarding "what you would do, IF your were gunna"...
edit: ideas from the developers are welcome too

Otherwise, I have been thinking of PMing Rudankort and Kerensky with the same question, "what you would do, IF your were gunna"...
