Mods wip

Hello All
I am late to this game and modding.
This is a true revelation in game terms-------my congrats to the makers------------very inspiring!
I am a veteran Modder/gamer-----usually "Techy" tactical games----------------but my wife bought me this---and i am hooked!!
My congrats to all the modders----i have played them all----------ALL are superb----------Thankyou to you all for your time and expertise.
Truly loved Tims WW1 mod----------------But he is a great modder from Mad minute to WW1 CM-------------Magic stuff!!

Anyway what am i doing/done-----------------------well due to disability I can spend (and do) many hours at the computer--modding!!
I have reskinned all the Models in BA to be more "muted" dirty ect added badges and so forth----------------but all kept within the "parameters" of the games
"quirky" style------------which i love.

I have redone the "Bulge" campaign to incoperate New winter skins ect and snow effects on vehicles----eg Puma ect now whitewashed or white (all german vehicles) and winter uniforms (seperate mod from main BA)
Also now doing "battleaxe" early desert (a10.13s ect) v Italians---then leading to Afrika Korps-----------------------again seperate mod---lotsa reskining.
I would post screenies (Say more than words) if i can get my comp to take pics-----------------acting up--will solve then post!

Getting to grips with scripting ect---------------got skining/remodelling ok and csvs ect.
All going to plan,

No I am late to forum------------------now playing catchup

Fixed screenies------using Imgur to upload-----------------get " post looks to spammy for new user" regardless of format
guess i have to make few posts first
No problem (unless im missing something)
Main campaign BA -------just reskins and viewing angle
Desert campaign------------reskins and incorp models
Bulge------winter makeover and some coding

Keep chopping and changing periods to keep me fresh but enjoying it
will post screenies when allowed to

There are some limits to prevent spammers from posting links or images I think. Not sure what happens if you try and post a link to the images webpage?

I understand and will be patient----------No inconvenience and thank you for your response.

I will try and describe what im doing/done so far
1st mod
Normandy redux
Massive repaint/tex on vehicles/infantry
eg german vehicles have foliage on them----dirt and mud---------------bric-a brac ect-------------some germans retexed-----eg waffen ss (foliage on helmet ect)
squad sizes changed --readouts changed------each scenario "Tinkered with"---------------------I tend to go for "visual" in my mods---------------this i have done----This is but a very brief precis-------------------new units like Mech inf---------also heavilly changed the brits------as i would naturally!

2nd mod
The Bulge redux---------------------All vehicles have been "winterized" new units added---------------------Looks right although i would like to resize some afvs---like king tiger (now white/snowy with decals)------still figuring

3rd mod
Desert redux
Used early Brit models ---retexed to sand (A10 ect) plus "Jock columns" based on book "cauldron of war"-----------------many changes and gamepaly------V Italians till Afrika Korps-------------------last few battles with them----------------also redone---------------------again the visual theme.

All above are seperate mods and dont interfere with Main BA.
Learning the scripting tools-----adding as i go
I dont model---sorta "Fix bits on here and there" then paint------------trying to get "Commanders" and Gunners on the vehicles ala Tim and his greyhound.

Ended up with a Pall bearer in front of a M5---------------walking at same speed!!-------Not Good------back to drawing board!!

also toying with a Arab/israeli 67 war scenario-----------------got the tools in BA-------------------it will work.

well thats a rough description----probs need a couple of "testplayers" later-------------------will upload a mod to wherever then Link will be in my PM-----------get some feedback ect before uploading to main site,

The Gazala campaign would make a fine module for the game. Maybe something we could see in the future as a Slith product.

I love the desert situations too. Knightsbridge, Free French at Bir Hacheim (sp).

Yes, I enjoy the modding in all the BA theatres (Did/done all of them) even the "hair pulling" over collar and patch work on those Tiny figs (hence why viewing angle is changed) BUT my partic love is the "Desert"-------hence why so many changes-----from Italian troop types to Free French in the desert--maybe South africans and Aussies----and the indians (Mucking about now with them)------------------------Lottsa new types like Pnz Gren and Mech Inf (seperate figs) ---Learning quickly the "modding" tools--------------and scripting.

Well this is the 10th post----------4 more days then i can post screenies of all the periods---------------------------I have mostly modded "Visual" so a Pnz II with a "Nazi" recog ariel signal on rear was "as is" and NOT meant to cause offence!

Got "too Spamy" again
guess it means i have to post 10 times

Been doing "France" campaign

changed the skins for Germans and French
that is---Dirty,badges and stowage on Models---plus some with "ariel recogn"
done "new troop types"----that is new model types (reskinned and added too)
3 german Inf types
Panzer Gren
Gren
all para types
Redone (slightly the french---but dirtied ect their armour)
redone stats and scenarios)

Back too Bulge now----------------------finishing winter effects on armour-----and adding new troop types

Have link for "New France"----------But cant put it in Pms or posts!

never mind--------------maybe if someone wants to have a look at wip---maybe Email me then can give link---------get some feedback!
