Looks like pbem rather than using the Slitherine multi-player server (listed as traditional pbem rather than pbem++ for FoG), so you could probably play on the same computer with two different email addresses.

Theres def. an AI and I hear these games from Ageod are pretty good in that regard as well ( likly a combo of real AI and scripting)
Cannot really go wrong for 24 bucks either!
