Gameplay problem - units in the queue

It's May of 41

As the Allies, I have built a US destroyer.

But all 3 US naval bases have units in them, which cannot be moved for another 6 months. So there's no way to deploy the US destroyer.

But the manual says nothing about how to skip placing a unit, so that one destroyer is holding up the entire Allied production queue, for all 3 nations. And appears destined to do so until December :)

Suggestions?

I agree this is an issue you should be able to select from the queue!

It does not hold up the queue, at leist not on my machine. As soon as you complete a unit that CAN be deployed that new unit will be placed in front.

Err, let me post the save, because that's not at all what's happening.

OK, this is very interesting. When I reload from save, the effect you describe occurs. But when I am just playing along without saving, the queue holdup occurs as I described above.

Johann, I seriously think we need some way to select which unit we wish to deploy, rather than having the game enforce its order of deployment.

How bizarre. I cannot reproduce the effect. Ah well, I guess we table this issue unless/until it occurs again.

Can you upload a screenshot of the issue showing the force pool and what units that could not be deployed?
Units that can be deployed and are built shoudl be placed front of the force pool queue, so need to see if that is the case.
