Select a campaign to edit
Then the campaign scenarios list is show, with the options to create a new one.
Then change your mind and decide to go back, so you cancel (x), but the Editor create a new blank scenario. i.e as you had been chosen "New Scenario" and pushed OK.

This is to some extent by design - you're not cancelling out of the editor, simply closing down the dialog which lets you choose these presets. If you choose not to choose you go to an empty map.

But logical canceling a dialog should go back where you were no?.
In this window you have two option that do the same:
- New scenario
- Cancel
Both come to a new blank scenario...

Frequently you look for a map, you open a campaign where you think there should be the map, and then, when you look at the list you see that the map is not there, to go back and open another campaign, you must accept to create a new map, then in the new map select "Exit the editor", and then accept that the unsaved changes (that doesn't exist) will be lost. And you are out of the editor. Begin again.
