Rally Bug?

Wondering on players thoughts on this as I consider it a bug but...

My active turn, I shoot an enemy BG and disorder it, I hit end turn and I see that same enemy BG rally, then the turn is sent...
Why should a unit rally at end turn at the same "phase" it disordered in?

per the rules: "All unsteady battle groups automatically try to recover their cohesion at the end of each friendly player turn"

I take this to mean the rally attempt should have been when my oppenent took/then ended his turm.....

This really devalues bow armies.....

I cant say for certain how often I notice this but am pretty sure I have seen it every other game....

I didn't believe this could happen, but I believe I've seen it in a recent game. I think this is something that has crept in fairly recently.

I know it has happened when playing the computer.

If you save game just before rallying and then load game a unit can rally. I think it can rally twice?

I am guessing it might happen if you close game just before rallying, when playing multiplayer. Start the game again and then the bg can rally.

A few months ago I pointed out to Slitherine that when an ally gen died, non allied troops could drop a cohesion level, if they fail their test and are close to teh death of the allied gen. They erased that bug

Players may be aware of this but an ally gen can rally non allied bgs. This shouldn't really happen but it does.

There are still numerous bugs in the game, even after the most recent patch nothing had been done about them. Hopefully the new system will have taken note of players mentioning these bugs and have erased them from the game.

Hmm didnt know about the allied general can rally non allied troops... At least they only allow double moves to allied troops so at least that is working...

As for the rally same turn as disrupted: I have sean this and I never close a game before sending my turn nor "save" in MP You can see it happen when you hit end turn there is usually 5 to 20 seconds of watching rallies, routed units move, evaporate etc that happen prior to the turn "sending"

Didnt know about ally generals rallying non allied troops. Didnt know they allowed double moves to non allied neither.

As for the close game to have better chances of rallying well if it is real there you have another one to feel uncomfortable.

Cheers!
