Commanders with Routers

A routing BG is about to leave the table.
A Commander is with it and tries to bolster it. He fails. Does that mean he is forced to stay with the BG and rout off the table?

Hi again.
No the commander does not have to leave the table with the routing BG.

The reference for Robert's answer is the last bullet page 110.
The only time a commander must leave the table with a routing BG would be if he is with the BG at the moment it breaks and its initial rout move would carry it off the table (first bullet, page 101).
