My GBOR/PC crashes as soon as the intro video is played. I took your advise and used the nosound option which got me up and running. I then updated all my device drivers and my DirectX, but it still doesn't run with sound turned on.

Please help

Sorry you are having problems. Some hardware combinations cause conflicts that can't be solved. We use Miles Sound System to play all the audio and if it doesn't work unfortunately there is not much we can do about it

Do you have the latest drivers for your sound card?

Thanks for the quick response. It was a sound driver problem as you guessed. It worked after the third time i reinstalled my sound driver. go figure.

That's odd - but at least it fixed the problem!
