Darker map

Hi!
I have a small problem...
I would like to toggle the darker map, but I can`t...
So I see the option in the menu, but the checkbox is not checkable...
Does anybody know why? I would like it to set the darker map, couse I think it looks better...

Are you running with the Low RAM option enable? Check the settings.txt file in the My Documents data directory (either *:\My Documents\CEAW Grand Strategy 2.00\data or *\CEAW\data depending on which version of the game you're playing).

Yes, I`m runing with low ram...
But I dont understand why doesn`t work that thing on this option...
Do you think I can disable the low ram option with a 512 mb ra? :-S

You can give it a shot. I'm running with 1024-MB and that's marginal for GS; but if you're just playing the vanilla game then 512-MB is probably enough.

What is the 'Vanilla' game?
I saw it written on other places in the forum, but I dont understand what it is...
Is it a mod, or something?

Hello,
Vanilla means stock, without any add-ons. Straight out of the box. Default.

Exactly. It means the base game (i.e., NOT the GS expansion).

It's golden vanilla
But; yes it's considered vanilla (or base game).
